Hello, I'm Orsi!

I manage projects from the initial idea to successful implementation.

Get to know me!

I soon realized that my greatest strength lies in my organizational skills and my ability to identify problems that others may overlook. This aptitude naturally guided me towards project management, where over the last 10 years, I have faced numerous challenges and successfully completed many projects.

Throughout my professional journey, I have gained experience in various areas, including IT projects where I was involved in the introduction and development of complex systems. I participated in the planning, implementation, and accounting of large-scale tender projects, which provided me with in-depth knowledge of budget management and administrative processes. Additionally, I have regularly organized events ranging from small workshops to large galas with hundreds of attendees, always paying meticulous attention to detail to ensure smooth and successful outcomes.

Moreover, I have collaborated with several startups, assisting them during their initial growth phases. These projects were particularly inspiring, as they allowed me to contribute to implementing innovative ideas and directly support the success of emerging businesses.

I am a precise, punctual, yet flexible person, and I think this is why the projects I manage are always completed on time and within budget. I believe that communication is key to the success of teamwork and client relationships, so I always place a high emphasis on clear and effective communication.

I am currently seeking opportunities where I can leverage my experience and skills to bring exciting projects to life together.

My Philosophy.

I believe that the most important part of any project is continuous, clear, and honest communication. That’s why I strive to explain as thoroughly as possible why we do what we do and why it’s necessary. I believe we can only work well together if we fully understand each other.

I consider an agile approach to work essential, as it allows for quick adaptation to changing needs and continuous improvement. I always evaluate which tools and activities are necessary for the success of a given project and plan accordingly.

I believe there are situations where the tried and true path is the best choice. However, I also think it’s important to continually question these established methods and not get lost in the mindset of “this is how we’ve always done it” or “this won’t work.” That’s why I’m constantly seeking new methods and technologies to implement projects in the most efficient and creative way possible.

What Projects Can You Reach Out to Me For?

Having had the opportunity to manage projects in various fields, I’m open to almost any inquiry. I have extensive experience in IT projects, grant projects, startup management, and event planning, whether it’s organizing small workshops, large-scale galas with hundreds of attendees, or even weddings.

Our first conversation will be about getting to know each other and for me to better understand your needs. In the worst-case scenario, we might find that I’m not the right fit for your challenge, but even then, I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction. However, my experience shows that every field benefits from having a leader who can see the big picture, keep things on track, schedule effectively, and maintain communication with everyone involved. So, whatever the project, I’m happy to listen to your needs.

How Do I Work?

After the initial contact, we will sit down, either in person or online to discuss the details of your project. If we find mutual compatibility, I will create a specialized plan tailored to your project, which we will finalize together before starting the work.

I approach work with an agile mindset, always striving to find the tools and methods necessary for the success of the given project.

Throughout our collaboration, I will keep you regularly informed about the project’s progress, and you can reach out to me anytime with questions or concerns. I strive to respond as quickly as possible to changes and new challenges, ensuring the successful completion of the project.

For more details on how I work, including the methodologies and principles I follow, you can read more in this post.

How Did a PM End Up Among Developers?

In my Turning Strengths into a Career post, I wrote about how I became a project manager, but I didn’t mention how I ran my own web and then app development business between 2019 and 2023. While working at the startup incubator, I kept getting suggestions from various sources that it would be worth learning […]

How?

Onsite or full remote?

Since I’m not a fan of unnecessary rounds of discussion, I’ll state it upfront: I’m a big advocate of remote work. This is largely because I’ve been working from home at every job since 2015 (except for a short two-month period, by the end of which I convinced my boss to switch to remote work). […]

Is Remote Good?

Agile in Theory, Practice, and Reality

Even though I have been working in project management for over 10 years, I first heard about agile methodology in 2017 when I started participating in more IT projects. Initially, it seemed like a trendy new term to me. I thought that instead of teaching various methodologies, it was more important to understand the needs […]

Nice things people have said about me.

Orsi is attentive and interested in everything, thoroughly delving into any new field. She communicates assertively and makes herself easily understood. She represents the project’s interests without trampling over people. Helpful and always seeking challenges and potential tasks, she organizes these into systems, making the everyday lives of those around her easier.

- Tamás Dániel György

I really enjoyed working with Orsi because she is always organized, focused, and solution-oriented. She communicates directly and honestly while also being attentive to others’ needs, striving to ensure everyone is satisfied by the end of the process.

- Dóra Hack-Iklódi

I have been working with Orsi on various projects for 10 years. She is a lazy person’s worst nightmare. She goes full throttle on projects, tirelessly pushing forward and inspiring those working alongside her. If she doesn’t fully understand something, she pushes herself until she masters it completely.

- Máté Molnár

I worked together with Orsi for 2 years. Besides being a very good person, she is also an excellent colleague: precise yet sufficiently relaxed, communicates well, organizes effectively, and brings the team together. She is typically the person to whom you can entrust the most important tasks with peace of mind.
